Needle was a witch assassin who used a long spear as her primary weapon. She impaled her victims and watched them die slowly. After losing an eye to a poisoned dart, she went into decline, finally being defeated in combat by Kernolde.
Needle was buried in the Witch Dell and became a strong dead witch, able to travel far from the Dell to seek human prey. Like all dead witches, Needle slowly lost her sanity and skill. She confronts Grimalkin, seeking to prove her superiority as an assassin, but is easily defeated, knocked into one of Kernolde's spike pits. Grimalkin comments that Needle was a "shadow of her former self" and Grimalkin "almost pitied her." Shortly afterwards, supporters of the Fiend set fire to the Dell; Needle's fate is unknown.
