Magic is a force of power harnessed by witches and Mages. The power of a witch's magic is varied, depending on her experience and training. Witches use three main types of magic:
- Blood Magic - the most basic form of magic, practiced by most witches.
- Bone Magic - a more difficult magic requiring bones, especially thumb bones.
- Familiar Magic - the most difficult form of magic, which involves controlling an animal or beast and commanding it to your bidding.
Some rarer forms of magic include:
- Animism magic - practitioners use magic to feed on the life force of other creatures.
- Elemental magic - involves using an elemental spirit to do the user's bidding.
- Moon magic - used to strengthen the power of healing herbs.
- Necromacy - controlling the spirits of the dead to spy and frighten.
- Scrying - using various mediums to predict and see the future.
