William "Billy" Bradley was John Gregory's 29th apprentice and is known by Thomas Ward, due to his foolishness and carelessness that lead to his death.

Death[]

Billy Bradley died when dealing with a dangerous boggart, that when he got careless and accidentally trapped his fingers underneath the stone slab that was to cover the pit. The boggart, bound under the slab, sucked his fingers of blood. Eventually, Billy Bradley died of blood loss. He was buried in unhallowed ground just outside the cemetery at Layton.

Later on, when Bony Lizzie and Tusk had captured Tom Ward, they put him in a pit next to Billy's bones, and forced a strange liquid down his throat. A huge worm burst up from the ground and in its place came the skeleton of Billy. Later Billy's ghost explained that the worm and the skeleton were hallucinations.
